Bargain Hunter, I've found the best places to find cheap $ parts is Ebay, swap meets and dealer tag sales. I've purchased alot of parts for a future project all for an evo. Screaming Eagle heads $400 normally $900+ at a dealer tag sale. Carlini torque arm $50 at a swap meet v/s $350. Solo seat $15 at swap meet usually $130 at a dealer plus many, many more. And if your interested in evo parts I just purchased a Screaming Eagle lifter block and lifter set from Barnett HD El Paso Tx for $300 normally $600 Check out their web site. And check out SteelRiders last paragraph he's right on the money! You just have to be patient Bargain Hunter. Out of all the items I've purchased on Ebay only once did a guy try to screw me and needless to say I shoved it up his ass. This guy listed a new headlight as being a Harley Davidson sportster headlight and my final bid was $100 which was a good deal. When I received it the box was from J&P cycle and when I opened the box the headlight was in a Drag Specialties box. Needless to say this was not a HD sportster headlight but an aftermarket one. To make a long story short what this guy was doing was putting an aftermarket headlight up for bid as a Harley headlight once he had a winning bidder he would order it from J&P cycles and have them ship it directly to you. This headlight sold for less than $70 including shipping. He sold a bunch of these headlights from anywhere between $100 and $170. First I reported him to J&P cycles then to ebay. He had to swallow the whole thing including shipping and return shipping charges. Oh by the way I also reported him to the attorney generals office of his state. But again I've had pretty good luck Ebay.
