Okay, this is a long shot...

May 2008 Reader's Ride was a story about Brian Ballard rebuilding a brand-new FLHX Street Glide. The article notes that all the chrome engine covers were removed, and replaced with "Slayer covers".

Does anyone here have a lead on where to track these down? I've never heard of them before or since. Searching through Google just keeps giving me pages & blogs about the metal band of the same name.

Anyone? Bueller?

Those Slayer engine covers are an Arlen Ness product.

I found the info on yahoo.
