Default Fat bar for 08 FLHRC w/ABS

Want to use the 1 1/4 fat bar on my 2008 FLHRC, #56032-08, but, the catalog states that you cannot use it with ABS. Two dealers have no idea why not. One even called Milwaukee and was told that you just can't use it. I had a fat bar on my '01 RK and it helped with the numbness in my hands on trips. Dealer didn't know if it was a cable or wiring issue. Have tried to find another company with a bar and specs I like, and have come up empty. Cannot think of what the ABS system has to do with the handlebars. Anyone have an answer. Thanks
