I bought the seat on e-bay, it had a cheap vinyl seat cover on it and paid about thirty bucks for it. The seat pan was very heavy and the pad was very comfortable.
I then took off the cover and made the one that you see.
It is real thick leather, and the horse is carved in it.
The seat is very comfortable, the springs take a lot of the road vibration out of the ride, however because the seat is so small, it does get pretty hard after about two hundred miles, and after three, you can feel the horse blinking.
I have done five hundred miles on it but by then
Old Paint is "
REALLY" biting at your butt.

It really was not as hard to do as it looks.
I printed out the photo of the horse on a printer, then glued the paper photo onto the leather then carved through the paper and the leather.
The springs and front mount I bought on e-bay.
The frame that the seat mounts on that makes it quick connect I made out of one inch x 1/8 flat stock.
There is a lot of information about this on my build.

Softail Bagger
I had bought a solo seat mount on e-bay for sixty bucks but never liked it, because it is so hard to take off.
If anyone is interested it is for sale, I think there are photos of it in the build.
It is very nice but like I said it is hard to take off put on.
it fits 2000+ softails.
