Default Kuryakyn Iso Grips(6212)

has anyone installed these on a 2008 or similar Sportster? The video they show makes it seems way to easy, and the instructions make it sound like rocket science....some help would be appreciated.

My wife has these on her sportster and she loves them. Her bike is a 2005, although we bought it sued and they were already installed. It is a simple install. The throttle cables are the most difficult part. Make sure you have a couple of extra ferrules for the ends of the cable in case you drop one.

The hardest part was getting the old, left grip off the bars. Other than that, it was smooth n' easy.

Cut the old grip off the bars. Easy as pie.

I installed them on my '07 Sporty. Don't recall any problems.

I cut the stock left one off.

I would suggest that if your going to use the supplied glue to install the left one that you test fit and mark how the grip is to be installed. Once that glued grip hits the bar you've got about 2-3 seconds before it's locked down solid.
