 HD lighting pods change color from purple to blue
I'd like some assistance in resolving a HD accessory issue. I have a 99
FXSTC that I added HD's lighting pods to. I chose purple to compliment the
cobalt blue color of the bike. The issue I have, with no success when
asking a number of HD dealerships, is that with the purple color pods. They
work fine if the dimmer is not turned to full intensity. If it is, over a
period of time the color switches to blue vs. purple. The only responses
I've gotten from HD is, eveything from "no idea" to "these are not meant to
be use ON" while driving the bike". It seems to be a voltage related issue,
but I've not doen any investigation. Any suggestions or assitance would be
