Default Harley Parts - Where do you buy them new?

I am curious where members of this Harley forum buy their new genuine Harley parts? Do you buy them mostly at a local Harley dealer, aftermarket shop, on line or somewhere else.

My dealership doesn't deal at all. Weather you're a HOG member, or not. Most of the time they don't have the parts in stock anyway, so I have to order it anyway. If I have to order it, then I may as well get 20% off. So I get my stuff from Zanotti's.

Hello.............. Genuine Harley parts are sold at................ the Harley shop???? Zanottis is still a Harley shop, isn't it? I agree, best place to buy OEM parts.

If there's a part I just gotta have I buy from the local dealer. Never a discount.....

Most of the time I buy online from Lakeshore Harley. They give a 20% discount (sometimes more on sale items).

I get mine from my local dealerships website.

Biker Bob's Harley-Davidson Motown -:- Taylor, MI

You simply plug in the part number from hd.com website and you get 20% off. Their shipping is REAL REAL reasonable too.

It usually comes down to who has the quickest and least expensive part to include shipping weighted against how badly I need the part.

If not needed today, I buy online with Surdyke, Zanotti, MandMcycles and even ebay. If needed sooner, I purchase locally from the dealer. Parts take 5-7 days with the dealers here for parts not in stock. I get a discount but usually it is not any savings from buying parts from online dealers on the mainland. I just get the parts quicker going locally - time is money.

I buy most of my parts at swap meets, J+P, and Dennis Kirk.
