Question Saddlemen BR3400?????

Two questions:
1) Where do you think the best deal on motorcycle luggage is as regards cost and reputation.

2) What do think of the Saddlemen BR3400? Overpriced? Great luggage? Do you have it?

Please help a relative newbie. I haven't been able to find any shops around here (NW Chicago 'burbs) to compare in person so have been looking in mags (found this one in American Iron) and online. I have an '09 Sportster 883 Custom with sissybar and luggage rack.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Here is the bag in question:

First thing is to figure out how you're going to use it. Some of the Kuryaken bags as well as some of the SAG bags from the dealer can be used as a backrest when put on the inside of the backrest. I think the best way to get the size you want is to actually see one in person. Check out the different manufacturers websites for the nearest dealer . All of them are pretty water resistant to a point. As far as when's the best time to buy, I would think with the holidays approaching there may be some promotions on the way, maybe an on-line special or something. Good luck

I'm also in the market for a similar bag. I'd be curious as to what others have to say about what they've purchased and/or recommend.

Well, I guess we're out of luck. Apparently no uses this bag or any other one that they like better.

Guess so. I figured at least a few would have some opinions on these things.
