Unhappy Front Fork Seal Leaks

I'm planning to have the fork seals checked by the Stealer but just wanted to know if others have experienced any leak issues related to 2007 FLTR's. Only 1500 miles and both front fork seals seem to be leaking a small amount of oil on the outside of the upper fork chrome covers. It doesn't seem to be a continuous flow.

Sometimes its just a bad seal. Should be covered under the warrenty I hope. If not. Buy the "Fix it" manual for the bike around $50.00. Start doing some of the stuff yourself. It will save you a bunch of dough.

I appreciate the response and it is covered by warranty. I did by the manual and plan to save some dough on repairs. Just thinking that once the stealer gets into it you never know what gremlin will attack in the future from the re-installation. On the FLTR the fairing must be removed to repair.

The leak was actually from grease when the steering head was lubricated for the 1000 mile service. Due to hotter temperatures during summer riding the grease melted and dripped on the outside surfaces of the fork covers. There was a post on another forum that drew my attention to the problem.
