Question air ride for a 2000 softail

I have a 2000 FLSTC Heritage Softail. I am thinking of installing rear air ride. I am looking to improve the quality and softness of the ride, and to give it that slammed look when parked. I have seen Arnott, legend, and progressive air ride systems advertised, and wondered if anyone has experience and input to these air ride suspensions. I am 6'3" tall and 250 pounds, seldom ride 2 up but sometimes have fully loaded t bags and saddle bags. Any thoughts?

My brother in law (actually ex, but that's another story) has a 2000 Heritage Softtail also. He installed Legend L3's, part number 58-784 in the Dennis Kirk catalog, and he loves them. Said they were extremely easy to install, and had to make little to no modifactions at all. I've not seen the bike since the work was done, but I read your question and gave him a call.

I hope that this helps you in your decision process!
