Default sporty/softail conversion

got a 99 piglet and was trying to find a softail frame that i could swap all my sporty guts to. not too expensive 2000 or less and use all my stock parts( tranny, wheels, forks forward controls etc.) also looking for barend mirrors any web sites would be helpful

A few years back we had a Softail Sporty come in for service work.
The guy built it himself. He used an Atlas frame made for just this conversion. It was long, low and looked awesome!
Sorry, I can't recall exactly what the frame cost, but I think it was around 2k.
I wish I had more current info for you. Hope this helps though.

Atlas is the frame I've seen for this application as well. Don't know how much stock stuff will fit. You'll have to inquire about that. It would make a great, quick, light, compact bike. Let us know how it turns out and post some pics. Ride safe and God bless

Redneck Engineering also builds soft and hard tail frames for sportster/Buell running gear and a lot of parts off the sporty.
