| | I am a tech at an HD Dealership also. If you have spokes make sure they are tightened other than that it is a steering neck adjustment. If spokes are loose turn each 1 a 1/4 turn at a time.

How tight should a spoke be? Do you have an actual torque value? Thx.

| | I have an 04 flhtci with 21,000 miles. High speed wobbles are common and very scary. Checked tired pressures and steering neck adjustments with no luck. Still looking for a solution.

| | I should have mentioned this before, damn...
The two times I did have a high speed wobble, one in a sweeper about 90 in the seventies and again at about 110 on a straight in the 90's turned out that I had made the neck bearings just a wee bit too tight...
Loosened them, fixed the prob...

| | Listen to what harley 155 said and check your spokes and rim. A friend of mine has an 05 road king and he almost lost it because his spokes were loose. At the time he had less than 1,000 miles on it!

| | Touring bikes are just that....touring bikes. Your really not supposed to be droppin that bike into a tight turn at 90. Although it is fun. LOL. I have to be honest after riding my '91 Sturgis for the past 14 years and then buying an '05 Road King I'm not all that impressed with its abilities. It is nice to have a place for my stuff though. I'm glad I still have the Sturgis when I want to get out and ride more aggressively. I'm not knocking the Road King but I thought it would be a better bike. I actually went out and bought one without even riding one first. My mistake. I realized after buying it that alot of the guys praising it were newbies without much riding background. I still wouldnt trade it for the world though.
