Default Road King Rear Shock Swap

Hi Guys
A Friend picked up some after market shocks to lower his Road King an inch in the rear. Anything he should look out for in making the change. I've done it on a Dyna by raising the frame with my lift, supporting the rear tire with a jack and swapping them. Is it the same proceedure with the air shocks on a Road King? His bike is an 07.
