After the first coat (black) was about 3/4 cured it came out of the oven to cool. Then it got taped over and a copy of the artwas lightly glued on. Art was then cut out and 2nd coat was sprayed on. Went back in warm oven until 2nd coat melted, pulled to cool. Removed tape while piece was was still very warm, it helped keep the lines clean. Put back in oven to finish curing.
That's the short answer, I practiced 4-5 times on scrap, then went to the derby. Shot the derby at least 3 times before I liked it.
My buddy is a retired army and the art came off of his unit patch.

Gasman- Thanks for the link. I was looking for that here a while back. I'd found it and had it stored in my favorites then my comp. crashed.
