Smile Locknut Size on Showa Shocks on '04 Softail

I need to increase the firmness in these shocks. But the locknut is larger than 1" and a 1 1/16" wrench seems too loose. The only 'standard' size between these two sizes of wrenches is 26 mm. Does anyone know the correct size for the locknut? Are the Showa units metric? Thanks.

Showa is owned by Honda. Metric? I think so....

Then, it's probably 26 mm. 1 mm smaller than 1 1/16". Calls for new wrench!

The nut size is indeed 26 mm, and a 1 1/16" wrench is a bad fit. However, 26 mm wrenches are not easy to fine. So, for the time being, I'll just have to use an adjustable wrench (not my favorite tool)

Default wrench for softtail shocks

Sears sells a nice sturdy, adjustable crescent wrench (#44713) about 6 inches long, opens to 1 1/16 inch, so you can adjust the shocks without raising the bike.
