Thumbs up H.D. Sportster Performance Handbook

I just received my new Harley-Davidson Sportster Performance Handbook 3rd Edition in the mail, motorbooks.com. It is a great resource guide. 238 pages of information about how to get more power out of our Sportsters. It's 11X8.5 inches with lots of pictures and history. Dyno charts and how to info, so have a look if you plan on putting together a big bore Sportster.

The first edition was in 1997 and now we have the "rubber mounts" from 04 on. The 3rd edition covers this, but only to 06. I don't know how much information you can glean from just looking without buying. If you don't have one buy one. It's great information that you will always have, $30 is not much IMO. All you guys out there that wonder about your Sportster, you can't have too much information. I like to read as much as I can about the Sportster, and there is good information about all that can be done to increase performance. It also tells how not to waste your money on stuff that has no real benefit. Before you modify your bike, read this.

4Cams: Thank you, I have three Sportsters at the present and am sure I have made almost all of the mistakes or gone misdirected in the past. Have wondered about the book, guess I'll just have to shell out some bucks, thanks again.

What edition should I buy for an 02' 1200 custom?
