Yes, the US dollar is so weak right now a number of Canadians, Brits and Europeans are buying parts from US dealers and getting a great deal.

I was hearing from the guys at NewRoc Harley (www.NRHD.com) about how their overseas sales have significantly increased in the recent months.

Hi Buzz,

If we try and order from most 'official' HD dealers in the USA we find that we cannot order direct from them, when we enter country details for shipping we get refered to UK dealers.

I haven't tried Newroc, but I will try them on my next order.

I have purchased from Adventure Harley Davidson, who were really quick of the mark.

Something completely different, as you are a senior guy, I have problems with my subscription to AI. I have had about 10 months now and its been a pain getting my copuies, usuallyresulting in email after email to a very understanding lady called Isola Hoover. I have missed a couple of editions, what can I do to ensure my next subscription doesnt have the same frustrations... I love the mag and anticipate it dropping thru my letterbox each month.... Brigger (I am sure Isola is pretty hacked of with my emails all polite I may add!)

Buzz,It seems to me that a piece advising us Brits and Europeans on the best way to go about purchasing HD motorcycles in the USA could go down well in AIM-assuming that you have plenty of overseas readers.I bought my first copy of AIM at Logan Airport Boston in 2004 and have subscribed since. As a visitor to the US I was amazed at the difference between NYC and Boston-the latter just enchanted me.Anyway,I am up for retirement in a few years and I intend to buty a HD in the USA and spend a few months touring before shipping it home to keep my Moto Guzzi company. Here is where the questions start-is it possible to buy a UK spec HD in the US,what are the rules for riding it Stateside,do they vary in each state etc.I am sure that there has never been a better time for such an article. To address the other side of the coin,I would be pleased to answer any questions that US readers might have prior to coming to our side of The Pond.Warm Regards to all at AIM and its readers-Tony
