New Bonneville Speed Record A guy named Jeff Baily, with a basically stock S&S SB 100 engine on a 1999 Buel X1 chassis set a new record at Bonneville of 172.591 in the APS/PG class announced by S&S today. Baily had a XR 750 TT replica fairing with 65 pounds of lead and steel for ballast to improve traction on the salt. The runs were made the week of September 11-15, 2007. I got the information from a e-mail from S&S. How about a "Duel Sportster" with a S&S 100 " motor.
