Smile Sportster Tires

Can anyone tell me the widest tire that will fit a 2002 Sportster without mods. i would like to go to at least a 140. thanks.

It depends on the tire brand. You can fit a Metz 880 in a 150 but will need to use a 3/8" pulley spacer as opposed to the 1/4" to clear the belt. A 140 metz actually measures the same width as a Dunlop 130 but is a shade taller.
