I also hope you get well soon. I don't know how he could not see your head light. Must have been the double lattee and cell phone while he was fumbling for his super size order of stupidity.

They don't see us because they don't look !!!!!! I repo 18 wheelers and have 4 wheelers pull the same BS with me. Cranial rectitus is an epidemic on our roadways.

Glad to read you are doing reasonably well. 10-4 the cold weather wear must have been a plus. Did bozo get cited?

You need to get an Xray and MRI done on your leg. Make sure you have nothing hidding that will cause you more issues in the future.

A lot of Idiots have a card that gives em access to the roads. You can be half stupid and still pass your driving test.

A month ago I had a car load of young girls that pulled across double lanes from the right on a highway I was on. I swerved and made it in between them and the Car load of boys that were chasing them. I could smell the poo on the car seats as about 12 kids crapped their pants. I believe they learned a good lesson, lucky my bike did not get hurt.

A few days later a car came screaming down the shoulder of a construction zone. It was hitting the Orange Drums or me. The young girl was smart enough to hit the Drums. I wonder what she will tell daddy about the damage done on her car. All I had was a few pieces of Orange Drums to wipe off my bike. I had to knock on her window at the next stop. The look on her face.... Priceless

Folks just dont get it. So I think its up to us to make em get it. 1 inch socket works good:>)

I am glad to hear that you escaped with your leg intact!

These days it seems like the kids have a me me mine mine attitude.
It's all about them, they own the road, if you are in their way it's your fault.
Nevermind the law, common decency, or any resemblance of pro-active brain function.

We have a new law in Cali, If a person violates the right of way of another driver or rider and this action results in an accident, the guilty party is convicted of a felony. Not a silly misdamener. This goes on your perminant record and fully counts towards the 3 strikes and you are out, time to go to prison law.

I hope you heal quickly and the insurance Co. gets your bike completely right!

God bless you and your family, and have a merry Christmas!

Got to be the luckiest biker out there . Glad to hear you are O.K. I have never been T-boned and still woke up 10 days later in ICU . I always have imagined that a T-bone would be worse . Lucky I had a helmet on cause I used to not wear one back then . Crazy and 16 years old . :I didn't have a clue about riding safely and didn't really care . Amazing what 30 years will do for you . Let us know how that works out with the wife . The truth now cause no one knows who you are . Don't give us the line you give your buddies . You may wind up wishing you had a few days in the hospital so she might be more sympathetic than angry .
