Default Spocket question 04-07 883

Is there a listing that I can access to see what rear pully I have on my 06 883R as far as a tooth count. Also need the count on an 04-07 1200C pully so that I can compare them as far as size. Anyone with an idea?

According to my manual for my 05 Xl 1200, it shows the trans sprocket for 883's is 28 teeth, doesn't differenciate between low, roadster, custom . The manual states my rear sprocket has 68 teeth. It also shows that 883's belt drive is 136 teeth and the 1200's have 137 teeth. Hope this helps

Hey,Mike
I don't know this will help any but,I checked a HD spec.s page saved from an old J&P catalog...it only shows sprocket/pulley sizes etc up to '04...showing all XL models from '91-'04 running a stock 61-T rear pulley with a variety of (some found on night-rider.com) crank-clutch-trans sprockets/pulleys from model to model..

You might try (good luck) checking with the parts-people at your local stealer-ship...who I would think should be able to look up the stock pulleys for later models and tell you what size they are...or maybe someone here has a more current J&P catalog (or other source--not current D.K. catalog) with similar chart they can check for you

Oh,and,hey...best to check for what if any bolt-pattern and/or belt-width,etc,design changes might have been made.

I may be late but for what it's worth the owners manual for 2006 lists the 883 at engine 34, clutch 57, trans 28, and rear wheel 68. The 1200 numbers are engine 38, clutch 57, trans 29, and rear wheel 68. Overall gear ratio in fifth is 4.071 for the 883 with 3.517 for the 1200.
