Yo Buz,
04 883custom Black
Dag where to start! Engine i guess
SE hi flo air cleaner, Carb Jetted, Vance/n/Hines Strait shot H/S pipes
SE 1200 Conv. w/ SE Ign. module. Left heads alone since Buell designed them, and also unnessary.
EZ Clamp on windscreen. Lot of birds around here!!!!
Chrome front end and hand and foot controls, Chrome engine top to bottom, Swing arm too, Mirror chrome thunder star wheels w/rotors and sprocket. Really too much chrome every place to mention here. Everything i could find for the 04 was replaced with chrome . This bike really shines in the sun. I do look for another gear on the highway tho. But I love it, its fast,It goes like the wind!
Oh Yea! Sundowner seat a godsend, I have a badd back and it really helps. Mid sissy bars, side load sissy bar pack that adds more comfort on the long rides. Got the goulie foot pegs And they were a suprise pleasure. Very comfortable, is how I tried to make this bike, and I am very happy with the outcome so far. More to do tho. Will it ever end??? I love it.
58 years young and like Peter (The Pan Man) I,ll never grow up!!!
Thanx for lettin me share. Keep it on 2 wheels, drive safe all.

Hey Buzz. The longest ride at one time was in 1997 when my wife and I went across country from Stamford, CT to San Francisco, CA and back for our honeymoon. We've ridden all over the East Coast from Canada to FLA. The best mods for the long trip was a 1200 conversion from 883, various performance tweaks, Progessive suspension front and rear, 2.5 peanut tank to 3.3 gallon, Corbin solo and pillion, and windshield. We also had a T-bag and saddle bags that we stuffed with 3 days of clothes, sleeping bags, tent, various tools, maps, etc. You ride what you have and the Sporty did great. We rode on pristine roads, dirt, sand, and gravel roads, over mountains, deserts, and all kinds of foul weather. Tour on a Sporty, you bet!

I'm itching for another long ride.

Mt Rushmore

Teton Mountains

Atlanta, GA

This is how the bike looks non-touring mode (current):
