Welcome to the forum!!

There is a 1976 Sporty in my area for sale $2500. I have not seen it, nor do I know the person selling it,
I just get the local e-mail for bikes for sale from a friend I ride with. He knows a lot of bikers, and is our kinda local info guy, and posts rides, events, and other stuff like that for everyone he knows.

If you are interested, let me know. shipping would be approx $550 using the company I just had ship a bike for me.

Or

You could try your local craigslist? I have found a lot of good deals in there.

craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums

You should be able to find Ironhead and Evo Sportsters are reasonable prices if you keep your eyes open. Try Craigslist and Ebay. I've seen Harley Sportsters that run sell for $3,000.

Good luck.

There are two Iron Head Sportsters for sale at Yankee Harley Davidson in Bristol Ct an XLH and a XLCH. The XLCH is the better of the two. They're asking $3995 but the salesman said they are willing to deal. Check their web site.
