Default Inch pound Torque Wrench

I am looking for a good inch pound torque wrench. Any suggestions on which brand to purchase. My HD service manual has a spread of torque values for inch pound settings from 6 inch pounds to 180 inch pounds. Getting into the higher values i can convert to foot pounds so i can use my foot pound torque wrench. The foot pound torque wrench i own starts ar 10 foot pounds, so i need to go lower so it appears the inch pound wrench is the only way to go for accuracy.

Smile Inch Pound Torque Wrench

I purchased a Craftsman 3/8-in. Drive
25 to 250 in-Lbs. It has a large Ergonomic Handle. Locking Mechanism to control the torque setting.
The P/N is 44593

I am very satisfied with using this it.

That's a good amount of settings on one, on the craftsman. Snap on click type starts at 40, goes to 200. The dial type starts real low and there's two available, going up to 200, I think. Snap-on is good, but costly. I'm sure the craftsman will do ya good. Does it list the accuracy?

It's a good thing to have. Ya won't believe the difference it'll make. No distorted parts, so repairs don't leak.

Wink

Just an update, i purchased the Sears Inch pound torque wrench mentioned yesterday, as Sears was having a 50% off sale after Thanksgiving. I was able to get it for $39.00. Thanks again for the tip on this wrench.

Motorman, I just picked up an inch pound at Sears on Friday. You can't go wrong for $40 bucks. The sale was only good for Friday and Saturday. Also own a 1/2 inch Ft.lb and a 3/8 Ft. lb. For many years when it came to inch pounds i used to use the good-n- tite method.
