Default sensors

Hey guys,

It is possible to go too rich if a sensor fails. The break out should have located the bad sensor which is throwing the efi off. Dealers like to "retune " because they have an AF reading telling them what is going on. Diagnostic skills ????? Like going to my Dr. If he can`t run more test than a scanalyzer he is lost.

Frisco has his usual great advice on looking for an air leak and taking plug readings. If you have a digital voltmeter yor can read sensor out put with the engine running starting with the o2 sensor. An analog meter will screw things up as soon as you connect it. The EFI is trying to compensate for a problem that the system diagnostics should find. There are several senors managing the fuel and 02 would be the first to look for.

Hey Wright
Good to see you check in on this one.. You're alot hipper to the HD Closed Loop..

I thought of something else that us older sickle guys would look at with these same symptoms..
A failing charging system and or low battery.

These newer sickles with all the electric dependant sensors and ignition need a tip-top supply of juice..

These are good things to eliminate before going on..

Thank you for the link, I have been trying to find the HD fork clamp, the one you put in the vise to hold the fork leg.
