Carry whatever you think you can use to fix whatever you think you can fix..
In-other-words,, if you do not or cannot fix anything, why bother carrying tools.. If you are ready to pull your clutches or your wheels or carb or cables or etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. then carry those tools..
Example--- I can work on my heads, clutches, wheels, ign., belt,, well,,, virtually anything on the road and have in 32 years.. I carry the minimum to do so,, and also for the broked-down stranger who I've pulled outa a jam a few times..

John 1:14
It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD. ----Abraham Lincoln
Other than a few of of the things that you can fix on the road as frisco mentioned if you own a newer bike which you do, a charge card and a cell phone is all you need and this is not meant to be a joke!
1911 is a nice piece of artillary! I carry a Smith Wesson 38. Back up is the Springfield XD 9mm. Just in case you have the occasional "Hide behind the wall guy" I have my Ruger 44 Mag. My wife has a Smith Wesson 357 no running from her. My kids practice with a Smith Wesson 22 revolver. I had to unload their Ruger Mark 3 for my wifes 357.
Looking at a Colt Navy
I love revolvers. But I tell ya.... That XD Semi Auto is a breeze to clean.
Oh yeah I have tools to work on the bike also. First Aid kit. Some survival stuff in case I have to Make a "Bee Line" into the trees for a bit.
My lead bill at the range is running close to the bike mods. Glad I am done with the bike. Costing too darn much. Now its just the basics. Gas, oil, tires and battery.
Oh I forgot. When you leave the range check the tread on the bottom of yer boots. Work frowns at spent casings found on their floor.
Oooh Geeeeze, you can tell when you're in good company, yeah baby..!!
Hey Hot,, I have a few gorgeous 70 series including a couple 70 series Gold Cups..
My Babies are my pre-70 National Matches.. That old style bluing is breath-taking..
I've also built several Colt and Springfield compensated competition 1911's..
Uh Oh, got me started..!!

Still have the Series 70 Gold Cup. Have a SEries 80 built from left over parts which is my cool weather carry piece. Series 80 to Series 70 to easy to talk about. Just like EPA mods. Front sight installs or why I own a TIG welder.
Hot weather goes to S&W 640 357 in pocket. Have 629 DX , 625 and old mod 25. Old mod 29 for blue therapy.
