Default Any S-100 users??

Does anyone use S-100 to clean their bikes? This is the stuff you are to spray on and wash off with water. I followed the instructions to the letter and I kept getting the white spots after it dried. So I ended up washing the bike two more times and waxing it to get rid of the spots. What a hassle. It is no wonder I flat black my bikes.

I was just going to say... Great stuff, but watch out for the white rez eye do declare, I think if you wash it off with a mix of vinegar and water, it should stop that from showing up.
A pressure washer with a vinegar bottle replacing the suds tube mixer, might do a better job than mixing up a bucket of vin and water to splash the chemical reaction might not work as well as a pressure washer.

Are you using the "Total Cylcle Cleaner" ?
I have not tried that one, but thier "Detail and Wax" seems to be ok. (As long as the bike is not too dirty)
Of course the detail and wax is a spray on wipe off, no water involved.

Yes, I am using the Total Cycle Cleaner. I will not use this product again. However, I will try the detail and wax spray you have used.

I used the Engine Brightener that makes the black engine black again. Great stuff. It worked well. After a really good wash using a stiff brush on the dirt collected on the black powder coated parts of the engine, primary and transmission, spray it on and wipe the excess off and let the rest of it dry. Make sure to wipe the excess off the chrome parts that will heat up. It tends to stay on the chrome a while if it is heated on.

I tried the Cycle cleaner on my spokes to get the black off after hearing that it would cut it and wash right off. They're still black.

I use Bike Bright (Brite)...just spray it on and let it sit for 5 min...hose it off and blow dry.

The engine brightener Ilike. The S-100 stuff I'm not too impressed with. I'll stick with my Crystal-Glo wash.
