Default Bungee Cords

OK, I'll admit it I have a thing about bungee cords. Not the kind lunatics tie to themselves and jump off buildings or bridges. But the kind with a hook on either end that you can strap things down with when riding. I can't remember the last time I rode anywhere on any of my own bikes with at least a couple of bungee cords.

You never know when you're going to find something you want to bring home. Or have something come loose and wan to fall off. I've tried some of those carg nets, and the are pretty useful too, but they aren't bungees. Bungees are great!

And the tiny ones work good for holding pushrod tubes up when you are doing valve adjustments. Perhaps even easier than clothespins...

I have at least 4 wrapped on the sickles at all times...
I am flabbergasted at all the riders I've seen in the last few years with no bags, no tools, no cords, no boots, no pants, no soul....................

I carry a bunch. They also come in handy when you change out of your wet duds and forget your belt on top of the hand dryer in the gas station bathroom.

Default Rider Course Instructors

When I took my riders course the instructors told us to never use bungie cords. What world do they live in? They must have to say this, for liabilty reasons. Motocycles without bungie cords, give me a break!
