Default Favorite Primary Lube

A lot of people are interested in what lube they run in ther Harley's cases, but I seldome hear much about the primary lube.

What do you run and how often do you check and/or change it?

Red Line. Used in all three holes, 20-50 in crank, v-twin primary and v-twin transmission with shockproof. Used right after break-in. Only oil I'll ever use.

Just switched to Amsoil, for all three. Dealer carries it in the Parts Dept. After several recommendations gleaned from here, I asked the Parts guy. In a "Low Stage Whisper" he said, "Go for the Amsoil". Good enuf fer me

I use Mobil #1 15-50 in all three holes or Amsoil when I can locate it. I change everything every 3000 miles & enjoy doing it.
