Default 5 or 6 Speed?

I love my Twin Cam bagger, which I use for around town and touring rides.

I am considering upgrading from a 5 to a 6-speed trans and would like to know what others recommend and why.

Hi BaggerDad

Just the other day,I was going thru the past year's worth of AIMs extracting tech-articles to file-away..before giving the rest to a friend. And,came across an excellent (of course) article on 6-SPD transmissions by Donnie, in the June '07 issue..if that helps in any way here.

Evo and Myt, I'll dig through my copies and read the article. Not that any of this will fit a hand shift knuck.

Check it out,'47...it does'nt cover JUST transmissions. There's also a lot about primary and final drives, etc., you might find interesting/useful there.
