Default reverse shifter assembly, worth the $$$?

i recently learned about reverse shifter assemblies.is this something that's really only used on a bike you race at the strip?i do find my self missing a few shifts when i'm jamming through the gears from a stoplight.my take-off style is 0 to speed limit as fast as possible.no heavy engine mods on my bike.just wondering if the reverse assembly would really make that much of a difference.

Pono:
If you're talking/writing about a shifter set-up that reverses shifting from 1 down and 4 up to 1 up and 4 down..."fuh-ged-aboud-it". Next time you want to "power-shift" the "trick" to it IS to just push UP on your shifter WHILE under acceleration..just.let off the throttle and/or TAP the clutch lever a bit (taking pressure off the inerds) for a SECOND.or LESS.while STILL pushing UP, and you're IN there, smooth AS silk..unless,of course, you do that WAY too often........

Main thing IS to keep everything ADJUSTED properly...know your shift/rpm points...and DON'T get STUPID about it...noting that reversing the shift pattern AIN'T gonna change the above at all...unless of course you have an issue with remembering WHERE'S up OR down IMO anyhow.
