Default Revtech trans

Hello Folks,

I just purchased a REVTECH close ratio 4 speed to put in the gearbox of my 78 FLH troublehead, and on their web site it says a 1 year unconditional guarantee from date of installation. When it arrived it says made in Hong Kong on the box and that has me worried a wee bit. Has anyone had any experience or heard anything about these?

Thanks
Dewey

I've had a Revtech "5 in a 4" in my 74 FLH for four years. Other than the neutral light stopped working no problems.

I think a lot of Revtech's stuff is made in China. I try to stay away from them, not because of reliablity or problems, but because I want to support American manufacturing.

I wish I had paid attention to that when I bought my BMC... too late now. I thought Rev Tech engines weremade in the USA. The rest of the bike is parts bought from Custom Chrome!!!
