The only thing bad about my 3" open belt is when you get rocks in it. I haven't got my pant leg in it "yet". You get used to the noise and the funny looks from people that don't know anything about bikes. Keep your left leg out far enough and stay off gravel roads as much as possible.

Hey Frisco...Some pics would be cool so I could see what exactly waht your talking about. You have my email addy, so you can send them there or post them here. Doesn't matter to me.

Baker has one that isn't completely open, as they reccomend to buy with the dog bone for those of with tourette's syndrome in the hand. It provides more coverage and strengthens the complete system.

The covered primary doesn't bother me, like I said, it's more of a personlization thing than anything. Granted it is a chunk of change to drop to just personalize something.
