I just switched to all Mobil-1 synth fluids in my Evo after breaking in recent upper end rebuild on Pennzoil fossel oil...15w50 engine...mercon-v type ATF primary...75w140 gear lube trans...and the bike seems to love it.

It was recommended here awhile back to change out the ATF after a few miles (for fresh stuff) because the ATF really cleans things up in there...and, sure enough the first ATF came out pretty dirty after only about 100 miles.

BTW..I went with the mercon-v type ATF simply because it was labeled for Multi-Use...Ford,GM,Etc...and will change that out to whatever Mobil-1 type if recommended by those in the know.

Anybody use Redline Hvy Duty Shockproof. I use it in Baker 6sp trans and its great. Quiets it down a great deal.

Ok, so it doesn't really matter what type I use.
As long as it lubes the chain and is good to the clutch....

There's Amsoil Severe Gear 75-90 in the gear case. The hotter it gets, the smoother it shifts
Gotta like that
