Default 1982 FXR Inner Primary

Does anyone out there know where a good used inner primary for a fxr or flt is? I can't find one anywhere. Thank you.

You've probably already tried ebay, so take alook @ usatwins.com or cyclesupply.com for some reasonable prices.
Is the one you have toast or do you just want chrome?

Nope, you mentioned it in your subject line...

OK, I could be waaay off here but in my HD specifications chart it shows FX, FXE, FXR, from 71 to 94 called the Superglide, soo, I simply assumed that your 82 FXR fell into that...
On p.7-90 of the '06 jireh, part No. 88-57--- says "fx models 71 - 84"...
Hmmm,, what do ya think bubba,,,,-- they all have too many letters for me...

Hey Frisco, I think the fxr differed from the norm a little. I'm not sure what is different but I guess it has something to do with the 5 speed. Thanks again for your help.

FX was superglide model, standard mount. FXR was rubber mounted motor. 93 model here.

The FXR's also have a different starter configuration.
Early FLT's And FXR's have this in common.
Just a hunch, but you might try the V-Twin catalog.
