Default We just did a Mystery Trike conversion

We just did a Mystery Trike conversion on a 2005 Sportster. The kit was easy to install and the bike sits real nice.

Anybody else do a conversion lately?

I need to do a conversion...from being a nice guy and people mistaking my kindness for weakness to being a complete @$$hole. I'm thinking I need to convert back to my old ways!

On a more serious note is this something we are going to see in a future AIM article or are there going to be pics posted?

John 1:14

It is the duty of nations, as well as of men, to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions, in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations only are blessed whose God is the LORD.

Is there going to be a write up and pictures in a future AIM mag or will you post some pics here?

Yes, this is a future project bike in AIM. Chris took lead on this one and I'll leave it up to him to fill in the details, but the donor Sportster belongs to Adam Williams here at the magazine, and he's always wanted a trike - this one looks sweeeeeet!

I suspect it will make print in about 4 or 5 months.

I wish I would've known you guys were looking for a donor for a trike kit. I would've volunteered my wife's 92 Sportster. Are you interested in another?

Thanks for the offer, but we're good on trikes for a bit.

The conversion article is in the June issue, which hits the newsstands on May 12.

Installing raked triple trees is also recommended, for easier steering, so the July issue has that installation.

So what do I do between June & July? Ride around with my new trike going into tank-slapper mode while I wait for the triple tree article?
