| | Opinion Of Trikes & Trike Riders Years ago most people dismissed Trikes and Trike riders as oddities due to a physical condition.
Do forum members here feel this perception has changed or not now that we are semming more cool looking and customized trikes and Harley TriGlide on the road? |

| | Re: Opinion Of Trikes & Trike Riders Well, I have thought 3-wheelers were cool dating back to when Ron Finch built his.... Trilogy I think it was called, back in 1975.
Now, a 3-wheeler may be in my future due to the ole bad knee thing. I will "ride" it out on 2 wheels as long as I can.
The wifey says she aint ridin' in no side car, so a 3-wheeler is gonna be the way to go. |

| | Re: Opinion Of Trikes & Trike Riders Psycho
I just saw Ron showing his stuff at a recent big Swap-Meet...and he's still knocking out some pretty "Psycho-Delic" stuff around here. Click on the link below then on Finch Collection for another glimpse of his "Trilogy" if you/others care to. Finchs Custom Styled Cycles
Personelly,I have'nt given Trikes much thought one way or the other...yet !!!

| | Re: Opinion Of Trikes & Trike Riders Not that I'm old yet, but the older I do get the more appealing I can see a trike being in the future. A buddy of mine ordered up a Rewaco which is built in Germany, so we'll have a report come spring time when it arrives. |

| | Re: Opinion Of Trikes & Trike Riders Always liked the servi cars. Still want one some day to even if I don't have to ride a trike. I would like to add a trike conversion to my wife's Sportster some time (bad knee causing problems holding the bike up). I saw a Sportster down at Algona IA at the Freedom Rally that looked really nice. It was a Frankenstein kit. |

| | Re: Opinion Of Trikes & Trike Riders I'll be getting a trike instead of a geezerglide when the time comes. Maybe even convert my Sporty. There's a lot of advantage to having at trike when you get older , or some physical disability, and they let you keep riding. The stigma of "not being on two wheels" has mostly gone away and will keep going away as the bike culture has shifted away from the stereotypical hardcore biker image in the last generation or two. |

| | Re: Opinion Of Trikes & Trike Riders I met a guy in West Glacier a couple of years back, he was 83 y/o riding a trike. He said if it wasn't for a trike he would've had to give up riding. I want to ride as long as possible and if that's the only, so be it!
