Default Side car opinion

I've been considering throwing a sidecar onto my Sportster for some time now. And for those of you who have a sidecar, I have the following questions that I would appreciate some feedback on:

1. How easy is it to put on/take off a side car? I would like to be able to switch riding solo and hacked.

2. Is the ride squirly or dangerous feeling?

3. What's it feel like as a passenger? Fun, scary?

4. Does it change your mileage?

5. Could it cause wear or damage to the bike?

6. What make do you recommend/not recommend?

Thanks!

1.Not a five minute job by any means, usually requires two people & a floor jack.

2.It all depends on the setup, totally different skills required to ride (all steering is forced-no leaning)

3.The passengers comfort is directly proportional to the riders ability to control the hack.

4.Yes,your mileage will suffer.

5.Tires & brakes will wear out faster.

6.Matter of personal preference.
