Default Race Fueler

Just got back from the Dealer and they were talking about the Race Fueler for my 05 Ultra as a fuel management. I'm going to put on a SEAC with a set of pipes. Is this a good move or old school technology?

Are you asking about the race tuner. I installed the race tune my self bought most off ebay for about 340.00. Retail is about 500.00. As far as operation its great easy after reading the operation manual. Just make sure to get the VCI that has down load so any dealer can make corrections.

Thanks for the reply! Not quite sure if this is the same one. This is a Screaming Eagle Race Fueler, part number 32136-05a. It's on Ebay for around $100. Seems easy enough to install just not sure on how set it up. Dont want it to rich or to lean.

I was checking the part number 32136-06a is for 06 and 07. On ebay look into race tuner easy to use and you adjust to your liking. Tuner also comes with data logger so you see how the bike is operating while under load. Hooked up to lap top you can also run bike while watching real time operation. Theres maps already loaded for easy down load. If you have E10 fuel you can change fuel table to 14.1 for better burn. And if you have a check engine light the tuner has the ability to scan the code for diag and repair. The Race fueler just changes signal to the injector not the base program. The Race tuner cost about 340 of ebay and dealer compared to the 100 for the fueler.

I am using a tuner by dobeck performance. You can add or subtract fuel in 4 different modes to custom tune you bike without using a p/c or lap-top. Its plug and play and doesn't affect your bikes ecm settings. Its the fastest and easiest way to change your A-F ratio.

I'll have to check out the Race Tuner on Ebay. Is this something you can set up and adjust on your own or does it have to be dynoed?

I've heard of the Dobech TFI. I went to there web site and it seems easy enough to set up. Sounds like it's the same set up as the race fueler.

Hey gtrb the race tuner is pritty easy. Theres a basic set up after base down load or advanced. Comes with the instructions and how every thing works together. I've allmost have mine dialed in but the weather keeps changing. The race tuner does fuel timing and if you install big bore kit can also adjust for that. the part i like is no extera parts installed on the bike.

The dobeck performance TFI, and the newest version the gen. 3 and 3.5 EJK (electronic jet kit) are the simplest controlers to use. They are plug and play units and do not run through or remap the ECM. They give you the ability to add fuel in different modes to custom tune your bike and you make the adjustments on the unit. No P/C or lap top needed. They use load base technology to change the injector pulse width and AFR to help your engine run cooler with more power. With the instructions and tech support, anybody can install it and make adjustments themselves.
Check out their site and if you have more questions let me know.
I want to make sure that you are informed. I am a rep. for them.
And of course I am useing one on my 2008 dyna!
