Default Clearview for a Road Glide

Does anyone have any experience with the Clearview windshield on a 2007 or 2008 Road Glide? I would like to get a Clearview for my 2008 but am not sure how tall or short to get the windshield. I would like to be able to look over the top but not get blown off the seat. The stock windshield from Harley comes just to my bottom jaw line. Will the stock height to the job or do I need to go an inch or two taller?

I have a clearview windshield - I have 9.5" smoked - works well except when my wife rides on the back. I just got a 14" - It will solve the problem. Call John - he can help you - besides you can send it back if it doesn't work properly - if you don't take off the film. He is an easy guy to work with.

Default height

What is the stock height for the Road Glide? 9.5 is the short version isn't it and 14" being the tallest? I am thinking an inch over stock would be the ticket but if I can get by with stock height I would take that.

Just bought a Clearview for my Dyna. John's a good guy to deal with.
I bought a stock height, for me it runs just under my nose.
They put a lip on the top of the shield so it helps shoot the air over my head.
I still get a little coming around the sides but it improved my ride 100%.
Hope this helps.

I am watching to see how it goes for your RG, Sarnowski. I have a 07 RG and replaced the stock windshield with a low profile (9.5") from HD P & A and it's better. The Clearview seems to be a solid solution to the visibility VS protection issue. The stocker was in my line of sight but gave great protection. BTW I am 6'-0" tall

I have a smoked 9.5" from Clearview - it is a recurve - had to go larger because of my wife rides on the back - that I would make you a deal on.
