Default Leaky 110in CVO's - New Twist

Under the why did it take so long file........

I just found out that the Harley is having a recall for the heads, gaskets, etc. depending on when your bike was built. Go to the the HD website under Service check-up. You enter your vin number and miles and it gives you service required and a list of any recalls or product notices.

HD site then Owners link and then Service check-up link

When I checked mine out I got:
Recall Notice: 0135: 2008 FL Touring Filter Shell
Product Notice: 0905: PRD PGM: 07/08 CVO 110 Heads

Harley should be sending out letters the first week of August for all bikes involved. From information I got, H-D is now contacting dealers and setting up kits for repairs.

Does that mean you have to ride the little Buell single for a while until your CVO is fixed?

I can wait until the end of the riding season to get the work done (hopefully no blow outs sooner), considering they replaced the gaskets once prior to the notice. But the baby Buell did hold it's own for the Lee Parks ARC 2 Class.
