I am by no means and FI expert, but from all the reading on it and all the other questions asked, I would and this is just my suggestion; get the pipes, put them on and see how the bike runs. If it isn't running the way you'd like it to then look into getting and EFI controller. I would think with just an exhaust change and an exhaust change only, you should be alright. Again, I'm not an expert.

No plans of SE A/C or Big sucker? If you end up having to buy an EFI controller it is something I would highly consider, especially if you go with one other than the V&H fuelpak. Reason I say this is if you go with the PCIII or something similar and get a dyno tune might as well pay for it once, instead deciding later that you want to change the A/C out and then having to have it retuned again. I am by no means pushing the fuelpak, because as soon as I get the funds mine is gone.

I put street sweepers and a big sucker, along with a power commander on my 02 Night Train. It was ok. The closed loop EFI scares me a little. I put a supercharger on my 06 Jeep and it has been one huge PITA over and over.....
