I want to try the stage 2 se mod on my 08 fxstc. It seems to be a natural extension of the motor to me. I am a new to harley rider and would appreciate any help thanks

I'm using the H-D suggested 95" kit on my 02 twin cam, it's carbed so the major cost went to the kit and cams. I don't know how much more the fuel management and the dyno tune to get the fuel dialed in properly will cost you. The bike performs just great and for me it was worth it, it could add to the resale value.

Welcome to the forum. With the right heads and cams these scooters are a lot of fun. You have a Softail Custom, is it? A doctored up 96" in a light bike might surprise you.

Russ29.... welcome to AIM's forum, great place for pick'n brains.
I love the fact that your wanting to up grade a "new" bike already.
Didn't take long for your decision either... nice.
You'll love the 103 kit and as was said, depending on cams, you'll see a real difference.
I've held off on the build till I have to take down my top end. If this 96" motor stays together for 100,000 miles, thats when I'll make my change. I'm real curious to see how long this motor stay together with proper maintenance.
I use synthetic motor oil and change it every 2,500 miles. Thats my preference and to some, a little over kill. But I do want this stock motor to stay together as long as possible. All I did was the S.E. high flow air kit using a K&N air filter, S.E.R.T. and V&H short shot exhaust. This thing is plenty fast enough for me now, and really pulls great.
