Default 2007 Twin Cams

I read on another forum that the 2007 TC 96" 6-Speeds had all kinds of problems. Being the owner of an '07 SuperGlide, I'm wondering how true this is? I haven't had ANY problems with mine, but I'm still under 10,000 miles and basically stock, running Mobil1 V-Twin Syn.

Hard to say what's what. Forums provide a place for people with problems to vent. Most people without problems don't always post that they have X number of miles and have had no problems. Maybe if you were more specific with the problems you have heard about, people on here might know what's going on and if it is a Company wide or a model wide problem.
My buddy has an '07 Superglide and has had no problems. I'm not sure how many miles he has.

I've got an '07 Wide Glide have had nary an engine problem. None of the people that I know with '07's have had any problems to speak of, either.

07 EG, ecstatic with my scooter, other than factory lean issues that I have resolved I can't find a great deal to complain about, just like Chipster.

I like Tommy got an 07 eg classic with 23K + on it not a problem one, I do all engine, tranny, and primary servicing. Only had a minor shimmy issue right out of the parking lot but, that was resolved. just the steering head bearing needed adjustment. Man I love my scoot to death just did a little 140 mile ride yesterday rain and all didn't even stutter. Gotta love'em.

I just turned 17,000 on my 07 Ultra Classic. Only problem so far has been 1 bad oxygen sensor, fixed under warranty. Cooled the motor down with 14.0 XIED's and it starts & runs like a champ, no more ping and a little stronger seat of the pants feel. Change engine oil every 3k, trans fluid every 7.5k.
Do all routine maintenance myself, lube and adjust cables, grease whatever supposed to be greased etc. Best bike I've ever owned.

The 06 FXD series were the test beds for the TC96 and 6 speed. IMHO the MOCO cobbled the 06s together to intrduce a new generation of Dynas. It seems the owners paid for this. MOCO learned from the mistakes and the new 07s appeared. Unless you really want a new of something it's best to wait out first year runs.
