I've had the 14.0's on the bike for about 3K miles and they made a nice difference. Cooled the motor down considerably, eliminated the pinging in 6th gear and gives it a little more power all around. Downside? I lost about 1 mpg, that's it. Took about 5 minutes to install, best money I've spent on my '07 Ultra Classic so far. I'm keeping the bike stock, no slip-ons and just a stock replacement K&N filter in the air cleaner.

Hi Elwood

Did you use this unit that is being discussed to get a 14.0's A/F mixture or another method.?

I have run the IED's, XiED's and ViED's for the past 2 years and they do exactly as advertised.

Excellent, Of course, being cheap, and having access to some good tools, I'll build my own.

It's a tossup between the XiED's and the ViED's. The XiED's are a good year round "tool". On those real hot day at higher altitude, the ViED's saved the day.

AIM has a set of either the IED's or XiED's for testing and a possible article.
How about it, Chris?

I preferred to keep my bike lean at cruise, and use a SERT to tune out the O2 sensors at idle. The bike stays cool, keeps great fuel mileage, with no driveability issues, and is ready for an upgrade on the cams and heads.

Hey Gasman

Thanks for the info, I bet alota our guys are happy to hear that..

Hi there High
Yes a good idea too..
I'm a Mik fella and one of the advantages of running the Mikuni is also being able to run a wee lean at cruising with an immediate fattening as the needle rises for power..

BLues

Knowing you are directly talkin to me...

I am very interested in this. I see that nightrider says that they aren't certified for the 09 FLH.

For $100 I'll buy a set once they certify them for my bike.
