Default Hi-Flow filter

anyone know of a manufactuerer that makes a hi-perf filter that will fit a STOCK 08 cross-bones backing plate. I can modify stock plate to flow well, but having trouble finding aftermarket filter to fit it.

Not familiar with your bike, but did you try a S/E filter. High flow, reusable, and doesn't need oiling. Probably cheaper than an aftermarket also.

Are you saying that the SE style K&N filter won't fit...or that you've checked with K&N and NONE of their replacement filters will fit ??? One thing for sure the "stealer" is'nt likely to refer you to K&N when he's trying to sell you HIS whole kit & kaboodle...that or his parts people just don't have a clue.

Got the whole kit and kabootle from the stealer and am very happy with it and you get to keep the stock look; and i did put the k&n filters in both of our trucks her gas rig and my diesel, they make a good filter for less and you dont have to change your back plateeither way you go it will help out with increased performance,

I'm looking at an 09 P&A right now and I don't see anywhere in the section that states either the stage one or stage two uses K&N. The S/E filters are the"state of the art" synthetic media(according to them). Maybe I'm missing something.

Have you checked out the usual culprits, J&P Cycles or Dennis Kirk?
