Well good luck. A few items worth considering is to use taller handlebars and forward controls as far forward as possible.

And don't even think of lowering the Harley. If anything you might consider using longer rear shocks and taller or stiffer fork springs for a little extra height.

I agree with Buzz about taller bars and forward Controls.

I have seen some kits for adding 2+ inches to forward controls. As tall as you are that would seem like the most likely way to get more comfortable.

You might find out where the bike in shovelmike's profile came from. That bike might fit you!

I keep thinking a bigger frame might be a way to go, but that is a lot of work and a bundle of cash. I saw in one mag a custom bike built for a tall guy, he looked proportional when it was completed. But that was a high dollar build.
At my first look, I didnt see any Santee frames that said anything about being right for someone tall. Someone must make one.
Cutting up your frame and stretching it would require a frame jig, and that could run up the costs too.
Have you tried any of the forward controls and taller bars yet?

At Street vibes last weekend I laughed when my 5'2" wife walked past a bike and had to look 'up' at the handlebars of a bike. I stood there and tried to figure out how tall the guy would hafta be to ride that thing. I am at 6' 0" and I dont think I could have rode it.....

Psyco, I remember reading an article about one of them Pro Wrestlers who was building bikes for other Big Pro's. I will see if I can find it and see if it mentioned frame sizes etc. There has to be a solution for the Big Guys.

I have a friend at work who has apes like you described. I am 6' also and I thought there is no way I could have operated that bike.

OK looked it up and it is Chuck Palumbo and he has CP Kustoms out of San Diego. It looks like he just uses longer reach forward controls for his modifications. Here is his website and phone #.

There's a lot more to it than just the frame rack.

Changing seat will make the biggest difference.
If you are riding solo, move the seat up and back.
I have a springed solo on my 01 fatboy and it changes the whole feel of the bike. Feels like you are on top of the bike instead of inside of it.
Takes a little getting use to but after you do, it feels great.
At 6'2", it fits me perfict.
That with extended fronts and bars, should do it.
