| | Mini Sissy Bar Bag????? I am looking for a bag, a small roll or tool bag or windshield bag sized device that could fit on a mini sissy bar on a VRSCAW. Most windshield bags do not have the kind of straps to do the trick. Their hardware would be a challenge.
Any thoughts or first hand experience?
Thanks!

| | What material are you looking for in a bag? For a perfect fit one of a kind- head to your nearest leather working guy. Most of em fix leather boots and such. Tell em what you need and have em sew you one up. Shoe repair store I used will also resurface your saddle if needed. Anything leather. Its a dying buisness with our now "throw away" society |

| | That is a good and comforting thought! Living in a rural community it is not that hard to find an appropriate artisan.
Thanks
I'm still open to ideas.

| | While at the dealer tonight I saw a handlebar bag, as it is called, that looks like it has a chance of working. When the mini sissy comes in I'll give it a whirl.

| | Mini sissy bar bag? For a moment I thought we were discussing a limp wristed, short guys. Whew!
Seriously, you might want to check out T-Bags, which makes some great bags to fit over sissy bars. They are good people and make a high quality product.
Good luck. |

| | A totally different thought is to check out military surplus dealers, and look for some heavy duty canvas tool/shooting bags. I have a Vietnam era cotton/canvas M-16 case that rolls up into a compact tube shape, and will protect anything wrapped in it. Not waterproof, but extremely durable and very cost effective. |

| | I was surprised to see that all of their bags are too big. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks! | Check out chase harper bags. They have a wide variety of semi hard, and work well on the vrod. I have the stealth on the side for saddlebags. www.chaseharper.com |
