I didnt notice your responce until today. If you didnt get your pipes yet I have some money saving info for you. Buy the universal supertrapps instead of the model specific ones. They are half the price and work great.

Very nice of you to say purr. Others might not have been so kind.

Yea Indy,

Slip ons but they are not model specific. You match your exhaust pipe diameter and find a muffler you like and slip it on.

Check them out

Jug Huggers are as old school as they get. They're wide open 2-2 or true duals. They don't make any power, and if you only loose 5 bwhp, you'll be lucky. Most loose 10 or so. 2-1 pipes generally make the most power on the Revo motors. Designs are a bit more limited, but on the V-Rod Dyno Shootouts, it's always 2-1's at the top of the list.

They are LOUD, especially under load.

vrscdx-knoxville, I have the same pipes on my 07 DX, the O2 Sensors were an issue for me as well sense I went with the ThunderMax EFI I had them installed where I wanted by a local shop. Trust me it will NOT sound like a sewing machine anymore LOL...

I have the Stealth Baffle in mine and I am still thinking of putting some fiberglass inside the bring it down a notch or two but while load I can tell you the sound is just killer and the look when you get them coated is also just as cool. I strugled over this Mod a bit because I have heard you will loose a few ponies going to the Jug's but IMHO it's worth it just for the look it gives the bike. (and let's face it with all the HP the VROD has anyway it's not like we are giving up that much ;-)

Enjoy
