Default exhaust change

After a lot of searching i finally have come across an exhaust set up to replace the stock system on the 08 vrscdx. the pipes are bub jug huggers.
They can be found through Vance & Hines. As always there are a few hurdles to be crossed. First of all they are only available in chrome, and wanting black I got them raw so I am having them ceramic coated. All the brackets for hook up are there. The other problem is the 02 sensor ports. The pipes only come with one port(rear pipe) out of location-so you have to request (2) inserts and add to pipes in proper location. This project is just underway so maybe the one thing that has bothered me about the V-ROD (THE EXHAUST) will be fixed. SOUND OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now your machine will sound the way it performs! Not like a golf cart.

Didn't you mean made by Bub-Rhinehart for your Bub Jug Huggers. I'm surprised by the port(s) problem, I put them on my 07 nightster, bolted right on and have a 02 sensor in both pipes. I sent mine to Jet-Hot to get mine ceramic coated black. Great pipes, great power, very well made. I think you will like them. I hope you get every thing straightened out.

Can you let us know how they sound and perform? I would really appreciate it because as much as I LOVE my Bike, I just really hate the way it sounds. My neighbor has a tougher sounding Moped.

Good Luck with the new exhaust. Can't wait to hear about them.

I chose the Supertrapps and love the way they sound and perform.

Sound

You can hear different exhausts on you tube. Just punch in the brand name of the exhaust and you'll get a sample.

Good luck!

OMG! That is orgasmic! That is exactly what I want for my bike. That sounds like a motorcycle.

Ed, it's not like a golf cart. It is more like a sewing machine and the funnier part is I love it.
